Safeguarding AdultsSafeguarding Adults Policy (Dec 2010) This policy updates the 2007 Multi-Agency Safeguarding Adults Policy. It sets out definitions of abuse and how it might be suspected or disclosed, and how an alleged abuse should be reported and investigated by health and social care staff. The Local Authority Adult Social Care Team is the lead agency: all other statutory agencies, including all NHS services, are also signatories and are bound by its provisions. |
